IT product distributor Dicker Data (ASX: DDR) has today announced they will issue $1,000 of free shares to eligible employees which continues a monumental rise for the company whose share price has risen from $2.80 at the start of 2019 to now be trading around $6 per share.
Such growth comes after a strong 2018 which saw revenue grow 14.4% to $1.49 million, and delivering and NPAT rise of 20.5%.
As outlined in their AGM meeting in May, Chairman and Managing Director David Dicker announced even stronger revenue growth in Q1 2019.
As a wholesale distributor of computer hardware and software, Dicker Data services approximately 5,000 resellers, vending well known IT brands HP, Cisco, Toshiba, Lenovo and Microsoft amongst others.
Since the start of 2019, Dicker has continued expanding its distribution network by partnering with printer manufacturer Honeywell, cybersecurity provider Kaspersky Lab and most recently cloud computing software company Nutanix.
Assuming that all eligible employees accept the free shares, the company expects to issue approximately 80,000 new shares which cannot be traded until 2022.
