Global Health’s refreshed healthcare data management system bags them a valuable contract

Take it from someone who used to work in the space, health care data management systems leave a lot to be desired.

Most are old, clunky and cumbersome, and still come at a premium.

Global Health (ASX: GLH) is looking to change that with their suite of healthcare software applications, all designed to connect clinicians and consumers.

The digital health software solutions pay special attention to patient engagement and connectivity across multiple specialities in the healthcare sector.

So far, their software has assisted over 3 million patients achieve optimal health outcomes and is used by over 10,000 healthcare providers across various locations across the country.

Adding to that list, Global Health has signed a new contract with Latrobe Community Health to provide a range of their applications, advancing their service for patients and optimising workflows for clinicians.

Operating over 50 sites comprising over 1000 employees, the health service is the biggest community health agency in Gippsland, Victoria. Latrobe Community Health offers a range of services including home care packages, aged care support, chronic disease management and general health services.

To further improve the health of the community they operate in, the not-for-profit is investing in their digital infrastructure, implementing Global Health solutions: MasterCare EMR, Data warehouse, MasterCare Connect, e-switch integration and Referral Net SMD.

The MasterCare solution is a fully integrated health practice platform and will assist with the delivery and scaling of services as it is capable of managing the large and complex data needs of the organisation.

The platform looks after every aspect of healthcare visits including referrals, triage, billing, invoicing, Medicare claiming and clinical note taking.

Valued at approximately $360,000 in annual recurring revenue, the contract is a significant win for Global Health, and has 2 options for 2 year extensions baked in too.

The new deal sets a strong benchmark for the Company moving into FY23, establishing MasterCare as a competitive player in the SaaS healthcare software market.

“We are delighted that Latrobe Community Health, a highly respected, progressive and large community health provider has chosen MasterCare as an integrated solution for their health care needs,” said Michael Davies, CEO of Global Health. “Latrobe Community Health operates across Gippsland and also in metro Melbourne offering a wide range of services. We are excited to offer a solution that not only works for today but can develop as the community health service expands more services across Victoria in the coming years.

“This solution will help Latrobe Community Health improve patient outcomes through increased accessibility, enable better decision making at the point of care with mobile solutions and improve coordination across all their services.”

Latrobe Community Health joins a host of other similar services that have signed on to use Global Health’s tools, including Monash Health, Bellarine Community Health and Peninsula Health.
