Ingenia and Surfing NSW renew partnership to support growing interest in surfing and coastal culture

As surfing makes waves as an Olympic sport, Ingenia Holiday Parks and Surfing NSW have renewed their successful partnership.

Ingenia Holiday Parks is part of Ingenia Communities Group (ASX: INA) and operates more than 40 holiday parks and resorts positioned along the East Coast of Australia which are popular family destinations for a short stopover, weekend getaway, or extended holiday.

The partnership brings together Surfing NSW’s expertise in the surfing industry and Ingenia Holiday Parks’ facilities and services, offering a unique and exciting holiday destination for surfers of all levels. It also continues to offer surfing enthusiasts and the Surfing NSW community access to some of the state’s best beaches, with Ingenia Holiday Parks located near popular surf spots.

The renewal of the partnership between Ingenia Holiday Parks and Surfing NSW marks a new chapter in the promotion of surfing and coastal lifestyle in New South Wales. Surfing NSW aims to ensure that the growing interest and uptake of surfers in its community see Ingenia Holiday Parks as the preferred accommodation option.

As surfing is now recognised as an Olympic sport, Ingenia Holiday Parks will also support the 2023 Team NSW. Team NSW is the next generation of World Tour and Olympic athletes, that are provided with high-performance programs that train and prepare each athlete to represent New South Wales at the Australian National Junior Titles. Specific training camps are offered to the athletes throughout the year, where Ingenia Holiday Park locations will be the preferred training destinations.

“With our Surfing NSW members on the road 365 days a year, our strategic partnership with Ingenia Holiday Parks makes for the perfect brand alignment,” said Surfing NSW Head of Partnerships, Media & Marketing, Emma Porter.

“Complimenting Ingenia Holiday Parks growth and our Surfing NSW continual growth as an Olympic sport with a stronger, more established pathway, we will work closely with Ingenia to ensure their parks and services are top of mind for surfers.”
