SenSen signs largest London casino to player tracking AI data collection

In the middle of their capital raising campaign seeking $5 million from shareholders, artificial intelligence company SenSen networks has announced its third big contract win for the week, this time a 3-year contract awarded by Hippodrome Casino in London for SenSen’s motion detection technology.

The contract is SenSen’s first UK contract win for their sensor AI solution designed specifically for casino monitoring which is already deployed at Melbourne’s Crown Casino.

The Hippodrome is the UK’s largest entertainment and casino venue with five floors of gaming and includes the largest dedicated poker floor in London. By installing SenSen’s AI solution, the casino will be able to detect and recognise bets placed on gaming tables while extracting critical operational information like number of players engaged in the game, average value of bets placed per player, the game pace, side bet analysis and more, all in real time.

This data can then be utilised by the casino for a range of applications such as targeted marketing to certain players or improving customer service.

“We are excited to be partnering with the iconic Hippodrome Casino, London to improve customer experience. This is SenSen’s first casino contract in the UK and provides further opportunity for the Company to target the large UK & European markets which have over 1,000 casinos and more than 30,000 tables between them,” said SenSen CEO, Subhash Challa.

“Currently, we are part of multiple trials for our AI solutions with several casinos globally, and with Covid-19 restrictions easing, we are confident many of these trials will move to production roll outs in 2022.”

The contract win follows a series of successful trials implemented by The Hippodrome with full installation to be completed by February 2022.

The contract is expected to deliver SenSen a total of $430,000 over the 3-year term.

Simon Thomas, CEO of Hippodrome said, “As one of the most progressive casinos in UK/Europe, we are thrilled to be introducing SenSen’s AI solutions into the Hippodrome.

“We have been monitoring technological advances in bet recognition and game analytics for some time and are pleased with the accuracy, ease of installation and level of service from SenSen. We are proud to be the first to launch SenGAME in the UK/European marketplace.”

While application of this motion and player tracking technology has been utilised at Australia’s Crown Casino, the same casino has only just managed to keep their gaming licence following a Royal Commission into their predatory tactics that deliberately target gambling addicts at their weakest moments. This is not the intended use of player tracking technology.

The contract win brings the Hippodrome in as SenSen’s third casino customer joining Crown Casino and Solaire Resort & Casino.

SenSen recently raised $4.2 million via an institutional Placement at an Offer Price of $0.12 per share to accelerate their planned growth initiatives. These include increasing their smart city presence from 35 to 100+ within three years. The Company also currently has a Share Purchase Plan open to eligible shareholders seeking to raise $5 million.
