Swift Expands Offshore Footprint with Oil and Gas Vessel Deployment

Offshore oil and gas operations present a unique environment for technology deployment, where connectivity, communication and workforce engagement are critical. As operators look to improve living conditions and operational efficiency on remote assets, integrated digital platforms are emerging as a key solution.

Swift TV (ASX:STV) has taken a step into this market and received a purchase order on a Walk to Work (W2W) vessel supporting offshore operations in the Northern Browse Basin, Western Australia.

Secures Offshore Deployment

Swift has received a purchase order covering engineering and design services, along with Swift TV hardware, for a W2W vessel currently under construction in Singapore.

The contract has been awarded through Walker Newman & Associates on behalf of a major oil and gas operator.

The vessel will provide offshore accommodation for personnel supporting operations on a not-normally-manned platform.

Targets Early Market Validation

The initial contract is valued at $151,639, covering hardware and associated communication engineering.

While the revenue is not considered material, Swift CEO Brian Mangano highlighted the contract’s strategic importance as validation of Swift TV within the offshore oil and gas sector:

“Swift’s deep sector experience has driven solutions tailored to the unique challenges of offshore operations, reinforcing Swift as a trusted partner. Swift TV builds on this momentum, delivering a market-first, all-in-one platform that strengthens our enterprise offering.”

The deployment provides early market validation within a key sector where reliability and integration are critical.

Builds Platform for Recurring Revenue

Swift expects the initial deployment to lead to a longer-term subscription agreement once the vessel becomes operational.

This would shift the engagement from a one-off hardware contract to an ongoing service-based revenue model.

Supports Offshore Operations

The Swift TV platform is designed to integrate entertainment, communication and engagement into a single system.

In offshore environments, where personnel live and work in remote conditions, these capabilities can support operational communication and engagement.

The W2W vessel will act as an offshore accommodation for personnel servicing offshore assets.

Positions for Sector Expansion

The contract reflects Swift’s strategy to expand its enterprise technology offering across industries, including mining, oil and gas, aged care and hospitality.

By securing deployment in offshore energy infrastructure, the company is targeting environments where integrated digital solutions can deliver operational and user experience benefits.

With the potential for follow-on subscription revenue and further deployments, Swift is positioning its platform within a sector that values reliability, scalability and integration.

As offshore operations continue to modernise, early-stage deployments such as this contract support the potential for further adoption of integrated technology platforms across the energy sector.
