Oil and gas operations continue to offer steady demand for specialist technology services, with Swift Networks (ASX:SW1) securing another foothold through a $2.4 million renewal agreement.
The company announced it will continue providing 24/7 technical support and entertainment services across three Chevron facilities, in a deal signed with Compass Group. The 12-month contract covers Chevron’s Gorgon Butler Park, Wheatstone Onshore, and Wheatstone Offshore sites.
Swift CEO Brian Mangano said the deal demonstrates the strength of the company’s long-term relationships in the resources sector: “We are pleased to be continuing our relationship with Chevron and our partners at Compass Group.”
He added that Swift’s work in oil and gas has been a proving ground for its platform: “Swift’s extensive experience within this sector has led to the development of product features and solutions to overcome challenges unique to the Oil and Gas sector, particularly for offshore locations.”
Long-Standing Partnership with Chevron
Swift has provided entertainment and support services to Chevron sites since 2015. This renewal underscores Chevron’s ongoing reliance on Swift’s technology to support remote workforces across both onshore and offshore environments.
“Making Swift the product of choice for the Oil and Gas sector,” Mangano said.
Full Subscription Revenue Model
The contract, valued at $2.4 million, is structured entirely as subscription revenue. Operations and expenditure (OPEX) revenue under the deal commenced in May 2025, giving Swift a clear line of recurring income for the year ahead.
Portfolio Of Oil And Gas Clients Expands
Chevron remains one of Swift’s key customers, but the company also counts other majors such as Shell and INPEX among its long-standing clients. The renewed contract builds on this base, positioning Swift as a specialist provider of tailored entertainment and technical support solutions for challenging industrial environments.
While the contract is for 12 months, it underscores the recurring demand for Swift’s niche offering. The company has made a business of developing solutions for industries where employee engagement, entertainment, and connectivity are critical, particularly in isolated or offshore conditions.
Swift continues to deliver across multiple sectors including mining, aged care, and government facilities. But in oil and gas, the consistent renewal of contracts such as Chevron’s demonstrates the durability of its business model and its embedded role in supporting site operations.
