UNITH’s latest GPT integration demonstrates 100% answer accuracy from digital humans

Making a big splash in the world of machine learning, ChatGPT can be crazy good. But still in its infancy, it is painfully inaccurate and misleading at times based on its inability to authenticate sources while scraping data across the entire internet. Having identified these issues for several years, artificial intelligence company UNITH (ASX: UNT) has a solution that can ensure 100% accuracy by only feeding the AI with authenticated data sources.

In its latest investor presentation, UNITH CEO Idan Schmorak confirmed that UNITH has performed successful integration with GPT and is on track to advance the integration into GPT4. The integration enables digital humans to generate contextual answers powered by ChatGPT’s natural language tasks.

Schmorak demonstrated the GPT integration concept where UNITH “fed” the digital human with a specific data set (a verified source) which ensured the digital human only provided responses based on the data set. This was deemed a closed-circuit data set which is the alternative of scraping information from the internet which comes with high probability of inaccuracies.

The digital human was able to answer several questions as a customer service agent for Sydney Trains, providing information about how much the ticket cost and where the trains go based on the AI’s ability to process information from the Sydney Trains Wikipedia page.

Commenting on the demonstration, Schmorak said, “We really improved the way the system is responding to the text and the understanding of what exactly I am saying and what I am meaning. All of the answers are generated in real time, which allows us and allows our feature clients to have a very smooth and boarding experience.”

Using machine learning and artificial intelligence in the form of digital humans, UNITH facilitates emerging businesses in automating operations through conversational AI systems. These digital humans can communicate with customers as brand ambassadors, which humanises the relationship approach rather than just letting customers communicate with conventional faceless and nameless customer service agents.

“We are able today to take conversations that we have called guided conversations, which were time consuming to create and to some extent predefined, even if from a very large area of questions and answers,” said Schmorak.

“The main difference between the system that we had until now and the one that we’re working on right now, this is a larger and better system in which the answers are generated.”

Following its rebrand in early December 2022, UNITH has been perfecting the company branding to best reflect its sleek and agile tech capabilities. It is currently strategically positioned in terms of development, running on a low cost base managing operations in Amsterdam and developing software in Barcelona. Successfully drawing the attention of institutional investors which had invested $4.5 million in UNITH’s ChatGPT-Talking Head integration, part of the funds was allocated towards data collection from clients and partners to learn to improve the system, as well as to gather important analytics that would come as a bundle with its existing systems.

Schmorak added, “We are eager to provide our clients with data from the conversations, which is incredibly important because today data is power and the data that we collect throughout our conversations is crucial.”

Moving forward, UNITH intends to launch a commercialised self-service platform in which users could onboard themselves, such as signing in and creating their own talking heads. The Company is well-funded for it, and is open to partnerships and deals that would get them there. The engineers in the Research and Development team have already kickstarted the process, and are currently working on the platform layers, perfecting the visual, and programming the digital humans to display emotions and be empathetic so it can be applicable for use in wider scope.

UNITH currently has an ongoing partnership with Japanese company NVISO, in which UNITH would integrate digital humans on physical kiosks in Japan.

With rapid technology and demographic changes in global trends, the demand for conversational AI is growing exponentially. The Conversational AI market was valued at $9.3 billion in 2021, and it is expected to hit $95.3b by 2030 at an annual growth rate of 23.6% per annum.

As much as companies want to take their AI tools to the next level and meet the demand, very few are as advanced in their commercialisation as UNITH which already services a Big 5 Tech company to provide three multilingual avatars.
