Actions speak louder than words so in their staunch rejection of political cover ups and alleged misconduct, the Australian Government is proving there is no ‘Boys Club’ in the West Wing of Parliament House by inviting intern Martina Martinez to a private function.

The function, convened in celebration of Attorney-General Christian Porter’s valued contribution to national objectives was held last night with the full guest list not disclosed to media.

Martinez, a Political Science student at Australian National University, was rewarded with a Parliament House internship following three years of exceptional performance in her studies.

Hosted in a windowless room to avoid heightened media coverage around Parliament House in recent days, several journalists awaited Martinez’s departure from the gathering. Although media was particularly interested in commentary around Morrison and Porter, Martinez was quick to decline comment as she rushed into an awaiting taxi.

“No comment other than I no longer wish to work in Australian politics,” commented Martinez.

Attendees are believed to have exited the gathering via a back entry with none departing through the same exit as Martinez.
