Four’n Twenty re-brands as ‘Humble’ in New South Wales

With more than 200,000 pies that have been left unsold due to New South Wales entering COVID lockdown where the AFL and NRL have fled the State, pie manufacturer Four’n Twenty has come up with a novel way to offload their huge stockpile of pies.

Until further notice, all Four’n Twenty products in New South Wales have been rebranded as Humble. The new line of Humble pies has attracted particular attention from Victorians as part of a promotion where they can order the frozen pies online and have them delivered to any New South Wales address with free delivery.

“With the COVID cases in New South Wales forcing Sydney into lockdown, we’ve got all these pies that have gone uneaten so we figured we’d have to do something to get them moving,” said newly appointed Humble marketing manager, Hugh Honey.

“If we can’t market them to Sydney-siders at the footy, the next best thing is to market them to Victorians who have been the butt of COVID jokes over the past 12 months. They’ve been flying off the shelves since.”

The free shipping has been of particular interest to Victorians where Humble has been able to keep delivery costs low by not offering any form of packaging. Instead, drivers deliver the Humble pies direct to their designated address where swarms of bats have been spotted across Sydney feasting on defrosted pies.
