“In this economy?” Next Warren Buffett experiences first bearish day

Following another dubious tweet from President Trump which saw global markets fall by 2%, some investors felt the brute force of a potential breakdown in U.S-China diplomacy.

For investor Hugh Honey, it was tough logging onto his CommSec app whilst having breakfast with the lads at the neighbourhood cafe and seeing his watchlist.

“Seeing everything in the red, I felt sick and lost my appetite,” Honey told The Sentiment

“I’ve been doing lots of research about the sharemarket and bought my first stock the other day. I now totally get why guys on Wall Street jump off bridges.”

Electing not to finish his breakfast, Honey was queried by friends about his mood change before solemnly responding “the market” with his head in his hands.
