Businesses that primarily operate in Spanish have shown a strong interest in artificial intelligence company UNITH (ASX: UNT) and their Digital Human platform as a business solution to target English-speaking audiences without the need to hire additional staff.
Invited by Amazon to present at the recent AWS Summit in Barcelona, UNITH showcased its AI capabilities where Spanish users can generate digital humans and upload a knowledge base in Spanish which is then translated to English for conversations with customers.
In an email to shareholders, UNITH CEO Idan Schmorak highlighted the value of such events in UNITH’s commercial roadmap by generating new business leads and expanding the UNITH Partner Network.
“For businesses that deal mostly in Spanish, the option to engage English speaking customers without expanding their workforce generated great interest, and vice-versa for businesses that want to penetrate Spanish-speaking markets more,” said Schmorak.
The event solidified UNITH’s relationship with Amazon in Europe, paving the way for deeper integration into Amazon’s global ecosystem. This strategic alignment with a tech giant like Amazon is expected to open new doors and enhance UNITH’s market presence in the region.
The Digital Human Platform, which integrates seamlessly with Amazon Bedrock, enables AWS users to utilise their own large language models (LLMs) within UNITH’s framework. This integration is just one example of the platform’s flexibility and its potential for extensive application across various industries.
Commercial momentum continued at the VTEX Connect Europe conference in Barcelona, which focused on retail and eCommerce businesses. UNITH’s Digital Human Platform attracted further interest from potential clients where UNITH demonstrated a kiosk that could be deployed by retail businesses where a digital human could take orders and answer questions from customers.
Compared to the current standard of text-only chatbots, UNITH’s Digital Human Platform stands out as the next generation of conversational AI with the ability of its digital humans to operate 24/7 and converse fluently in more than 60 languages. These features make it an ideal solution for businesses looking to provide continuous, multilingual customer support and engagement without the constraints of human workforce limitations.
“Both conferences provided plenty of opportunities to showcase our customer panel, which received extremely positive feedback. This validation underscores the strategic importance of its development and our commitment to ongoing improvement in the rapidly-moving AI sector,” added Schmorak.
While prospective customers and partners that UNITH is meeting at these industry events are being given priority access to the Digital Human Platform, the AI company intends to rollout a general public launch in the second half of 2024.
Key to the general public launch will be UNITH’s partnership approach to customer acquisition. Beyond their API integration with AWS for 3rd party LLM’s, UNITH has also developed plugin integrations with WordPress and Shopify which will help drive initial customer acquisition upon public launch.
For the quarter ended 31 March 2024, UNITH reported $0.3m in net operating cash outflow with $4.8 million of cash on hand with marketing initiatives to increase when the platform is launched.
