Australian taxpayers vented their fury on social media towards Scott Morrison after the Australian Prime Minister pledged $150m towards President Donald Trump’s mission to Mars.
The funding announcement came during Morrison’s tour of the White House, which included a frivolous amount of photo opportunities where the two political leaders appeared extremely satisfied with each other’s efforts.
Speculation around the leaders relationship has been rife with the two sharing eerily similar ascensions to their nation’s top offices via upset victories at the polls.
“He caused a boilover at home when he won so I guess the next step for him would be to do so abroad?” queried taxpayer Vic Vinegar.
“Someone should probably tell him he can’t actually run for the Vice Presidency but I suppose under the Trump administration, anything is possible.”
